So you're in the club and you make a request to the DJ to play one of your favorite artist's recent hit singles and you get a bootsy response, sorry dude, but I'm a part of the Core DJ coalition and I can't play your favorite artist's new jam because he slapped up my fellow DJ and we banned his ass. Now, would this make any sense to a music fan? Apparently this is a new reality in Hip Hop.
