Tell Me Tell You MYSPACE Amber: For those who do not know much about the band, tell them who tell me tell you are and how it got started? Gary: TMTY is a group of 5 various kids, who got together after the fall of a few bands. We all love pop rock, and we've all been in this game for so long, that we're stoked we all finally came together to form this awesome band Amber: What do you think makes your music stand out among other musicians? Gary: We are all from NJ! In all honesty. We're not trying to be different. We know we sound like other bands. That's gonna be inevitable. We just like to have a good time, and play music that we love to play. Amber: What�s the best thing you have learned so far about the music business? Gary: Ummm that it sucks. It�s very tricky, very hard, and that you need to go into it with eyes open. The chance of making 10000000 dollars is slim. We just want to keep our dreams alive and have as much fun and do this as long as we can. Amber: How do you remember your fans; which ones stand out to you? Gary: All fans stand out to us. We're so humbled and blown away by how sweet and awesome fans have received us in such a short time. Amber: I see you all have ur AIM listed on the band's myspace. That�s pretty amazing, most bands wouldn't even bother. Gary: We're still a pretty small band, but I've always been a huge fan of bands that stay grounded and know that they'd b nothing without the kids. To this day I still remember the night I met NFG at one of their shows right when they were coming up. My dad and I went out and ate hot dogs and talked with us for like an hr. And ever since then I knew I'd always take the time out for anyone who cares about my music. Amber: How did TMTY get their name? Gary: Eric came up with it, and says he has no clue where it popped in his head from. Hahaha Amber: If you could add another member, dead or alive, to the band who would you pick? Gary: I say Tommy Lee, Joe says John Mayer, Justin says Slash, Eric says John Lennon, Richie wants David Hasselhoff. Amber: Do you have any embarrassing moments while being on stage? Gary: Nah not really. Justin slapped my ass once in the middle of a song. It was awesome. Amber: Do you have plans for a CD soon? Gary: Yes. It�s pretty much done. We're stoked on the EP we have. Amber: What's the title of the EP? Gary: As of right now its untitled. Amber: Do you have a release date or it? Gary: Pending on labels, tour and other stuff, not as of yet. Amber: When you're not writing music or performing, what are your weekends like? Gary: Ummm. We're all always together. We all party a LOT together, hang out with friends/GFs/family, go to the movies and play video games. We're pretty lame kids. Haha Amber: Ideally if you could pick the label you were signed to what one would you pick and why? Gary: Collectively we want to be on a major like Geffen or Epic, or Universal. Someone with a lot of push who would really like to invest time and money into all that we've done. We just want a chance 2 b heard on a bigger level and that's what majors can provide. Amber: What is one mistake the band has made but never will make again? Gary: Having a lead singer other than myself. Hahaha. Their old singer just didn't fit the mold, and I had played a solo show with them. A few days later they were like we need this kid 2 front our band. They called me up and we're like dude u gotta join our band! Haha the rest is history.
