Tanya: Tell me your names and what you guys do in the band.
Tom: I'm Tom, I play guitar and am the backup front man.
Alec: I'm Alec, I am the lead frontman/brocalist.
Dan: I am Dan. I play the bass guitar.
Kevin: I wear the beard.

Tanya: You guys just got signed with Fueled By Ramen, how did that come about?
Tom: FBR heard our 'Houston, We Have a Party' EP just a few days after we finished tracking it. We talked to a lot of labels but from the beginning we knew we wanted to be on Fueled.
Kevin: Level 5 sorcery.

Tanya: How's your relationship with everyone at Fueled By Ramen?
Tom: Awesome. One time we had like a 4-hour long chat room party with Johnny Minardi, and we get to hang with him more now that he's in Chicago. John Janick took us out for a meal of food once too and he was really cool. He was the only person in Chicago wearing shorts that day. We also got to play a show with CIWWAF and those guys were really cool to us. Dan and I met the P!ATD guys like a year or so ago and they were really nice and down to earth.
Alec: Yeah, everyone we have met/talked to at fueled has been totally kickin, and are really into making everyone feel comfortable, which is nice.

Tanya: What is one song another band has written that you wish yours had?
Alec: "Don't stop me now" By Queen, and pretty much anything from early 80's Van Halen DLR-era.
Tom: I wish I had written 'Smile Lines' by Incubus. Or 'Letting the Cables Sleep' by Bush.
Dan: Natasha Bettingfield 'Unwritten'
Tom: Beethoven's 9th
Kevin: The Beatles 'Hello Goodbye', B*witched 'C'e La Vie'
Dan: the theme song to 'Growing Pains'
Kevin: 'Where have all the cowboys gone' -- Paula Cole

Tanya: What is your dream venue to perform in?
Kevin: Green High School Auditorium
Dan: Knights of Columbus Hall -- Arlington Heights, IL.
Alec: Via satellite from my house's basement to the four corners of the world.
Tom: I'd like to play at Carnegie hall, and not practice at all before hand and be completely out of tune the whole time. And then afterwards people would be like, 'Oh my god that must have been amazing to play Carnegie Hall' and I would be like, 'Well actually it kind of suckedwe didn't really practice and my monitor kept cutting out.' And then people would be like, 'Oh, why didn't you practice? It's Carnegie hall for goodness sake!' and I would be like, 'I dunno, I was too busy watching Happy Feet and taking new webshots.'

Tanya: Who have been your biggest musical influences?
Dan: the Beatles, um, Led Zeppelin, Beethoven,
Tom: Mozart, Sinatra
Kevin: Buildings, Gloria Estefan, sea creatures in the depths where they need those bioluminescent lightsespecially in the Marianas Trench

Alec: Sam Neal and the Veloca Raptors
All: Saga

Tanya: When Can we expect a CD from you guys.. Any plans to tour in 2007?
Alec: We are planning on releasing our album in the summer of 2007.
Tom: That way people can have pool parties to it
Alec: we are going to be touring a lot. So hopefully we can meet every single person in the United States before winterno that's unrealistic.
Dan: hopefully Canada too.
Tom: And the UK and the rest of Europe, Australia, Japan, Greenland

Tanya: If you had the chance to tour with any band who would it be?
Alec: Seal, hands down. Then he could also be our mentor and spiritual advisor.
Kevin: Rush
Dan: Tchaikovsky
Tom: The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Alcatrazz

Tanya: What are three tour must haves?
Tom: Van, Trailer, Instruments
Dan: Money
Alec: Red Bull
Kevin: Jamba Juice
All: Friendship

Tanya: Do you have any hidden talents?
Tom: Kevin has perfect pitch. But he's the drummer so it kind of goes to waste. Actually, I think it's perfect relative pitch, not perfect pitch.
Alec: Tom pretty much has perfect pitch too, but he is shy. Kevin is also amazing at Tetris, he has been playing for over 15 years. Dan is also good at imitating Joe Cocker and the football coach from the TV show "Two-a-Days"
Tom: Coach Propst.
Dan: I can crack my knuckles consecutively for an infinite amount of times.
Tom: Kevin can estimate lapses of time with incredible accuracy.
Also, Alec can do a standing backflip and can spin super fast.

Tanya: Do you have any words to live by?
Alec: Gotta snake money to make money
Kevin: I got a good feeling!
Tom: Oh, we're half way there
Dan: Woah, livin' on a prayer

Tanya: Whats one thing you wish you could change about the music industry?
Alec: their needs to be more friendship and smilesand candy coated CDs, and treats.and hugs.
Dan: Better food
Kevin: More funny pictures of cats
Tom: More friendship, I also think there should be a government-run record label. More albums being released only on giant clear laserdiscs. Bring back cassettes. Etc

Tanya: How do you remember your fans; which ones stand out to you?
Dan: Kevin's sister is a huge fan. She stands out.
Tom: Our friend Sydney might be our biggest fan. She came to our showcase in New York; she was the only non-record label person there. She still went crazy and screamed and danced and elbowed all the record execs on the way in to get to the front.
Alec: She's a doll
Kevin: This dude Eric Spore knows more about our songs than we do.
Tom: I think I kind of remember anyone who talks to us at shows or buys a t-shirt or anything. It's always kind of shocking to me when people really pick up what we're throwin' down.

Tanya: Where do you see the band in 5 or 10 years?
Alec: Hopefully on the moon or some futuristic satellite orbiting the Earth from which we can play on.
Tom: Having fun.

Tanya: After everything is all said and done what do you want the band to be remembered for?
Alec: Our DVD on joke formatting, execution, and the elements of traditional jokery.
Tom: Starting a religion that revolves around the Internet, also being the first band to release an album exclusively on cassette tape or lazerdisc in the 21st century. Kevin: Our music.
