 Polaroid MYSPACE.com/polaroidfl Brittany: To start off tell us your name and what it is you do in the band Polaroid? Mat: I'm Mathew Musto pronounced (ma-ht muh-stoh) and I'm the Vocalist/Lyricist/Pianist of Polaroid. Brittany: How and when did the band form? Mat: I used to play electronic music with Jesse.. it was called The Night Shift, and we decided we wanted to be like our favorite band at the time, Acceptance, and have a full rock band. Brittany: What are some of your favorite songs to play live? Mat: Definitely "A Witness" because I have the excuse to shake my ass. Brittany: You guys just released a new album on May 27, how has that been going so far? Mat: The album is coming out better than I thought, we got 5 stars so far on iTunes from everyone who wrote a review. Brittany: Because of the new CD can we expect any tours this summer? Mat: We're working on it, if not…2009 Warped Tour so our label tells us! Brittany: If you could put together a dream tour, who would be on it? Mat: The Counting Crows and Jason Mraz haha Brittany: Do any shows stand out to you so far amongst the others? Mat: Uh…I would say the home shows are always the ones that stand out because every individual in the room is having fun. Brittany: If you had the chance to change anything about the music industry, what would you want to change? Mat: I would change the amount of pointless, meaningless, helpless music that airs. Brittany: Do you have any last words to everyone reading this? Mat: I would advise everyone to check us out if you haven't already, and stay real to yourself, live in peace, and leave the rest up to God. |
