Brittany: How did you all join and how long has the band been around?
Dustin: Jesse, Larry, and Steven started the band when they were around 14 in middle school in San Diego to play in battle of the bands.. then purevolume came around and they started taking things more serious.. the story of how I came in is wayy too long lol. but lets just say I joined during Warped Tour 2005 and things just clicked nicely.

Brittany: How would you describe your music to someone who hasn't heard it yet?
Dustin: We always just say "rock n roll" or "alternative" it's nothing really too out of the ordinary but it's good stuff to sing, rock out, or dance too and a lot of people can relate with the songs.

Brittany: Who are some of the bands biggest influences?
Dustin: Definitely Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Saves the Day, Muse, Copeland. LL cool J

Brittany: So you guys are recording your new album, are you happy with how it's coming?
Dustin: We've been in the studio now for almost a week. The songs have come together beautifully. I'm just really excited for everyone to eventually hear it. I wish I could give clips away but I'd get in trouble

Brittany: What are some of your favorite venues to play?
Dustin: I love Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA., The Norva in Virginia, and The Gorge in Seattle (warped tour) nothing gets more goodlooking than that place.

Brittany: If you could tour with any bands of your choice who would that be?
Dustin: haha probably the same bands that influence us. We just really want to support huge bands of our genre so we can get our music to the people who've never heard us.

Brittany: What are some memorable fan experiences you have?
Dustin: Sometimes our friends will follow us for a week straight, even longer sometimes. It's amazing to see dedication like that.. we like the big/wild cities like Vegas, New York, Seattle, Vancouver.

Brittany: If you could change anything about the music business what would you change?
Dustin: There's a lot of ways that I could answer this question, but I'll make it as simple as I can.. I basically just wish that honesty, dedication, and sincerity mattered more in this industry. Too many people take it for granted and too many people are just trying to make a quick buck and get out. That's not how it should be. just my opinion.

Brittany: What is something that you have to have with you at all times when on tour??
Dustin: My laptop and ipod. the regulars lol.. I have this neat chip that i put into my laptop and I pretty much get internet anywhere I want so the internet definetely helps to pass time on long drives and stuff. also Wet Ones. I like clean hands.

Brittany: Whats one venue you havn't been to yet that you would love to play? Dustin: The 9 30 club in DC, and Metro in Chicago.. ohh, and The Mellon Arena in pittsburgh lol. I'll cross my fingers on that one.
