Myspace Brittany: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do in the band. Aaron: I'm Aaron James Brown........I love the color green and I am a cancer....I also play bass in June. Brittany: How did you get involved with June? Aaron: um Tim kinda ask me to join, so I did and we jammed. Brittany: Where did the name June come from, anything in particular? Aaron: Um we were called Drive Like June and that's a lame name so we just cut out Drive Like and kept June. Brittany: I was always curious, is your song Patrick in reference to anyone or just random? Aaron: Well its about Tims dad and Tim. Right before we starting writing "If You Speak Any Faster" Tim got kicked out of his house and he moved in with me, so the song is about that. Brittany: What is your most and least liked song to perform live? Aaron: I love playing the new ones ...but nobody knows about the new ones yet but....off the ones on "If You Speak Any Faster" I'd say Patrick or The City. Brittany: Besides a few of the shows listed do you guys have any touring planned in the near future? Aaron: Yes we do, but I can't talk about it now it's still in the works. Brittany: From your previous tours do you have any venues or cities that stand out to you? Aaron: Um anywhere in New Jersey or the East Coast at that is awesome, and it's the same with out West. Everywhere is sexy to play! Brittany: Who came up with the new cd name Make It Blur?? Aaron: Sutor did. Brittany: What are some things that you keep with you at all times when on tour? Aaron: My cell phone, Ipod, a pen and notebook, and books, and Gameboy. Brittany: How long have you been playing bass now? Aaron: Not that long like 5 years but I've been playing guitar and have been in bands since I was like 15. Brittany: When and how did you guys get signed to Victory? That's such a good label congrats on that too! Aaron: We just sent out demos to every label, agent, and mager we knew about. Brittany: Who are some of your influences? Aaron: Well for writing ....everything is an influence..from friends to family to what your going through at the time. For music...Bjork, Regina Spektor, Sigor Ros, Refused, and Nine Inch Nails. It changes all the time though. Brittany: If you had to choose 3 other bands to go on a tour with who would you pick? Aaron: Saves The Day, Elton John and The Junior Varsity. Brittany: If you could change one thing about your band what would you change? Aaron: I wouldn't change anything....I think our band is right where I want it to be...we are writing the songs I love and the new stuff I'm very very excited about ...so I wouldn't change anything. Brittany: Do you have anything to say to close it up for the fans?? Aaron: We will see you very very soon...and be ready for the new stuff...it will rip your face off. Brittany: Do we have a tentative date to expect the new stuff? Aaron: Well we will release a song or two before the release date, but we are looking at aug... for the release.
