MYSPACE Amber: For those who do not know much about you, tell them who you are and how u got started? Harmony: My name is Harmony Moniz. I have been singing since I was 3 years old, and haven't stopped since. Music is my passion, I live for it. I sang all growing up, and when I was 13 i auditioned for Las Vegas Academy of performing arts. It was a high school made for people in the arts. I got accepted, and all throughout high school sang in the shows there, and learned so much about music it was amazing. I am a versatile artist, so I love to sing everything and write everything. I want my lyrics to help people get through hard times like lyrics in the past have helped me. Amber: If you weren't doing music, what do you think you would be doing? Harmony: Honestly, I cant imagine doing anything else. I have tried so many times to think of pack up plans and such, but there arent any. This is all I want, and I will either have it or die trying to reach it. I do, however, love photography, so anything in the arts. Amber: If you could choose any year to live in, including the past and future what year would you choose and why? Harmony: I would choose 2011 because 11 is my favorite number and I would want to see how drastically music has changed by then. Amber: Do you have any words that you live by? Harmony: Yes, "What's the point of waiting if it's what you wanna do?" Thats a quote I wrote a long time ago, and it inspires many people because it is so true, why wait when you can do it now? Amber: If you had a movie about your life coming out, what would you call it? Harmony: I would call it "It's All in the Chart". Amber: Out of all of your songs, what is your favorite and why? Harmony: My favorite song is "I Wish He Knew" because I wrote it after a break up. It's a sad song, but I always have wanted to do a song completly a cappella with just my voice, and I finally did it with that song. Amber: For someone who's never been on stage, explain how it feels to perform infront of many people? Harmony: Oh my gosh, UNBELIEVABLE!!! That's definitely the word to describe it. There is no better feeling in the entire world!! I honestly never want to leave the stage when I'm on it, no joke! Just seeing all those faces and knowing they're there for you and you are doing what you love oh my God it's incredible!! I can never get enough! Amber: Who are some of your all time biggest musical influences? Harmony: Britney Spears is a big influence, mainly for her performance skills..She puts on amazing shows and entertains so well, I love that about her. Mariah Carey of course is a huge influence. Amber: If I was in a CD store and you saw me looking at your CD but I was debating whether or not to buy it, what would you tell me to persuade me to make the purchase? Harmony: Well of course it would be your choice, but I would let you know that every song on it has a different message and that I am positive one of the messages could relate specifically to you and help you . Also, if you wanted to blast it in the car, you would def. get attention. Amber: What is one song out there that describes you and your life the most? Harmony:"Unwritten" because my story is still waiting to be written, and beleive me, it is going to be a crazy one.
