From Beginning To End
MYSPACE 1. Describe everyone in the band and what they do? Dale Vaughn – Vocals/Screams/Guitar Paul Saylor – Lead Guitar Kevin Thompson – Drums/Backing Vocals Tim Smith – Bass Guitar 2. Has myspace helped u with your fan base? Yeah it has. It really makes being in a band much easier. You can build a fan base over the internet. Whether or not that is actually fair or not, I don’t know. But we’ll take advantage of it. 3. Do you have any bad habits? Which one???? I bite my fingernails does that count? 4. What do you think is the greatest song ever written? How Great is our God by Chris Tomlin 5. What's one thing you have done but will never do again music sense? Take people at their word. We’ve been ripped off and lied to time and again by people saying the can and will do this and that and never coming through for us. Yeah, so it is kind of like you will get as far as you are willing to do it yourself. 6. What embarrasses you? When someone repeats something stupid I’ve said or done to another person in my presence. 7. What is one quote you live by? You get out of life what you put into it. 8. If you could change one thing about the music business what would it be and why? That is would not be so closed minded. One band makes it big and everyone copies what that band does. Instead of being themselves and bringing their own creativity, they start trying to be everyone else. 9. Name some artist you would love to share the stage with? You know, we’re not real big on saying “oh if we could just play with them or that band.” We believe in what we do. We are comfortable playing our own shows, but if the door opens to play with bigger bands we’ll jump on it for sure. If they’re bigger than us, we’d definitely like to play with them. 10. What is your favorite song to perform live? Probably Touch. 11. Do you have any backstage rituals? Yes, we pray before every show. We don’t like playing without praying. 12. What are your 3 touring must haves? Taco Bell, Kevin has to have his PSP, and our own creativity. It gets boring on the road when you’re driving so you invent things to pass the time. 13. How did you come up with the band's name? Actually, it comes out of the book of Revelation. We are a band that believes in the Bible. We also believe in a God that is From Beginning to End. A lot of people think we ripped of From First to Last. It is not like that at all. Actually, I had never heard of them when we came up with the band name. Our music is pretty different too. 15. If you were to be the headlining band who would you want as the opening bands? Anyone looking for a chance. I hate seeing bands that are just killing time. If you are for real, I’d like to play a show with you. 16. What comes first for you guys, the music or the lyrics? Both actually. The guys write music. I write lyrics. I do write some music, but they are much better than I. 17. Have you ever googled yourself? LOL!!!! Of course. Doesn’t every band. You want to know if you’re getting out there or not. 18. If you had a movie about your life coming out, what would you call it? What is this???? Yeah, life is so not what you expect it to be. You grow up thinking it is one thing, then when you grow up it is culture shock. 19. How do you pick the names for your upcoming CDs? Well, since it is our first full length, we thought In The Beginning would fit because it is the first part of our name. 20. Any last confessions? We are really goofy. If you meet us, don’t take us too seriously. We are a bunch of goofs. This or That game!!
