Brittany: Start off by introducing yourself and tell us a random fact about you.
Chap Stique: My name is Chap Stique and I fly saucers, play guitar and shoot lasers for Family Force 5. When I was a child, my pet gerbil bit her tail off and my sister jokingly told me it was my fault. I lived with a lot of guilt until I realized that I was not to blame.

Brittany: How and when did the band form?
Chap Stique: Fatty, Soul Glow Activatur, and Crouton are brothers, and they sung in a Bobby Brown-inspired dance group as children. About thirteen years ago, they met Nadaddy and started playing stuff that sounded like the Eagles mixed with Crosby, Stills and Nash. Several years and a few Prince albums later, they decided to write some funky, greasy rock, and Family Force 5 was born. In need of a guitarist, they bought me in an eBay auction and we started touring the universe.

Brittany: Describe the band in 5 words.
Chap Stique:
1. Apocalypse
2. Wizard
3. Rock
4. Future
5. Robot

Brittany: What is your favorite song to perform live?
Chap Stique: Earthquake. It's funky and huge, yet it's so simple that we can spin our guitars or spit water without thinking about the music.

Brittany: You have a tour coming up, tell us about that.
Chap Stique: We are on day two of the Dance Rawr Dance II tour, and thus far, it has incredible! We are wearing some new space outfits, and we brought out an amazing light show. The opening bands are mind-blowing, too! Additionally, we asked the crowd to wear silver, so it looks like we're playing in the year 3030.

Brittany: What are some bands you have always wanted to go on tour with?
Chap Stique: Van Halen, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Iron Maiden, Rage Against the Machine, Daft Punk, Justice, Bjork, Pink Floyd, and Radiohead. We offered all of them them opening slots on the tour, but they were booked.

Brittany: Do you have any shows that stand out to you overall?
Chap Stique: About 3 years ago, we played an insane showcase in Nashville! Fatty accidentally gave Soul Glow a mild concussion by hitting him in the head with the bass, and Crouton fell while doing a handstand on his drums. I tried to do a David Lee Roth split, and I sprained my ankle. Nadaddy sliced his hand open on his turntables, and Xanadu got hit in the face with a guitar. It was absolute carnage, and we still have scars from the show!

Brittany: What is something that you keep with you at all times when on tour?
Chap Stique: Chapstick! I'm addicted.

Brittany: Any hidden talents or guilty pleasures?
Chap Stique: Desperate Housewives is totally a guilty pleasure for me. It is one of the most well-written shows ever!

Brittany: What are your plans for the next couple of months?
Chap Stique: We're touring our booties off and trying to finish up the season-1 DVD of the Really Real Show, our Waiting for Guffman-esque documentaries from the road (currently on Youtube and myspace). In addition, we just found out that we landed a great slot on a huge rock tour, but we're not allowed to announce it yet!

Brittany: Any last words for everyone reading this?
Chap Stique: Dance or Die!
