Brittany: For those who have yet to check you guys out tell us about yourself and Dance Gavin Dance.
Eric: I'm Eric, the bassist for Dance Gavin Dance. We're from California.

Brittany: You guys just released your newest Cd in may, how do you feel about its success so far?
Eric: We're happy about the success. All of the proceeds are going towards buying a place in Aspen someday.

Brittany: Do you have any songs that tend to get the best crowd response?
Eric: People seem to like "And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman" & "Lemon Meringue Tie"

Brittany: You guys are touring non stop for a while are you looking forward to any shows in particular or any venues?
Eric: We're basically excited for every single show, all of them. Also the saints & sinners festival in New Jersey.

Brittany: Who are some bands you have yet to tour with that your dying to do a tour with?
Eric: Akon, Mistah F.A.B., and maybe Crazytown.

Brittany: Do you have any hidden talents that we might find interesting?
Eric: I used to be an amatuer waterskiier a couple years ago....

Brittany: What us the best advice you can give someone about making it in a band?
Eric: Make sure you aren't really up tight. go-with-the-flow.

Brittany: What are some things you have with you at all times when touring?
Eric: Books, iPod, Marijuana, hydrogen peroxide.

Brittany: What was the last Cd you bought?
Eric: Spider-man 3 Soundtrack.

Brittany: What show stands out to you as your best show and what show do you think was your worst so far?
Eric: One of my favorite shows was in Buffalo, NY a couple months ago. Always love buffalo..... Our worst shows were most likely in Boston and San Antonio.

Brittany: Who came up with the band name and what does it mean to you guys?
Eric: Okay, we were playing Grand Turismo 3 for Playstation2. When we unlocked the secret indoor soccer level you had to do a certain number of drifts in a row to get the goalie to dance. For some reason, Gavin thought that was really funny. And then he got into a gymnastics class, he got really good at these handstands. We named the band after him.

Brittany: What can we expect to see from you guys in the near future?
Eric: More touring. We hope to start work on a new album next year.

Brittany: Any last words for the people reading this?
Eric: Pick up Grand Turismo 3!!
