![]() Cynthia Fargus MYSPACE.com/cynthiafargus Brittany: To start off tell us about yourself and what it is you do in the band. Terrence: I do lead vocals. Recently I've started playing guitar in a few of the songs as well. Brittany: Is there anything about yourself not many people would guess, any hidden talents? Terrence: Yeah. I'm actually straight. Brittany: When and how did the band form? Terrence: The band formed in the spring of 2007. Josh Strock, Kane Gelaznik, and I started working on some songs together, needed a drummer so we got our friend Brendan Ryan to do it, he played on the first EP. After that, we needed a bassist - we asked our friend Casey O'Donnell and he was into the idea, it was a perfect fit. Eventually we sought out a new drummer after a 6 month full band hiatus, and now Derek Davis is playing drums for us. Brittany: For people who have yet to hear you guys how would you describe the sound? Terrence: I would hate to use the word "Ambient" in the description, but the first EP would fall under Experimental / Ambient / Rock. The new stuff we're working on would be more or less Experimental / Progressive / Rock - we still use a lot of ambience in our music, but since so many bands started to use that word in their descriptions, we wouldn't want our use of it to be misconstrued. Brittany: What are some of your favorite songs to perform live? Terrence: Personally, for me I would say Agatha Parks and Darla Wilds. Brittany: What can we expect from you guys in the near future? Terrence: A new EP, tons of dates all over the northeast, and tons of new merch. Brittany: If you could change anything about the music business would you change anything? Terrence: I guess I would change a lot of things, mostly so everything would be more goth. Brittany: If you were to put together a dream tour who would be on it? Terrence: Phil Collins and Converge. |
