Crash Romeo MYSPACE Brittany: Give us some background information on the band. when you joined, how you got the name...etc. Adam: Well I joined back in early 2005!! the band was called centsless at the time.. we then changed the name to Roma! (thats when I came into the picture). We got the name Crash Romeo from an idea me and steve had about writting a comic book or something along those lines about lives. Steve had aquired the nick name of crash and I had the nick name of Romeo.. so we were gonna call it the Crash Romeo Chronicles. We told trustkill about the idea and they did a back flip so we just were like fuck it lets call the band that. So we changed our name! Brittany: How would you describe the music? Adam: I would describe the music as a cross of Punk and Rock with some new wave dance influence with synth going on. I dig it. its kinda like New Found Glory with a hint of Motion City Soundtrack! Brittany: Whats your favorite song that you have recorded so far? Adam:daaaamn idk, i'd have to say either make ammends which is on our bsides and will be released soon or ummm heading west. I love both those songs alot. Brittany: Do you have any cities or venues you love to play at when on tour? Adam: yes I do! I love the whiskey a go go in la.. I also love the stone pony in good ol jersey as well as Hamilton St. only because ive been playing shows their since I was 16! Brittany: Is there a dream venue you want to play at someday? Adam: I would love to play a huge arena in japan sold out. or Irving Plaza haha that would be rad. Brittany: Do you prefer outside shows like warped or indoor venues? Adam: I think warped tour is great. I also love indoor venues. Warped is just an amazing expeirence! Brittany: If you could tour with any band that you havn't yet who would that be? Adam: probably New Found Glory or Alkaline Trio. they are huge insperations for the band. Brittany: Do you have any pre-show rituals? Adam: ummmmm hahah usually have a beer or a drink of some sorts to ease the nerves. I really like hanging out at the merch table and getting a vibe from the crowd. Brittany: What are some things you have to have with you at all times on tour? Adam: my ipod, my mac book, me cell phone, my head phones, my tooth brush in my back pack with all my toiletry as well as my flip flops. I always have a pic of my dogs as well. Brittany: Who are some of your biggest influences? Adam: ummm my biggest influcences are NFG, alkaline Trio, minus the bear, social distortion, missery signals, idk im into alot of new wave shit too. Brittany: If you could change anything about the music industry what would you change? Adam: I hate how its all about who u know and who works for you. thats bullshit to me. let talent be recognized and rewarded to those |
