Chris Woods MYSPACE Tanya: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview Chris, why don't you give us a brief introduction to who you are? Chris: I am a singer/songerwriter sent to warm the hearts of whoever will listen. Tanya: You briefly changed your name to Jordan Michaels then back to Chris Woods again, why did you decide to change your name back again? Chris: I felt it wasn't really me. I can only be myself and I felt going under a stage name was playing the role of someone else. Tanya: You recently recorded your first EP, For the fans that have been there from the start this is a long time coming, why don't you tell us about it and what we can expect from it? Chris: Well I agree its been a long long time coming but you can expect alot of different emotions and sides of me. Tanya: When will it be avaliable to purchase and where? Chris: It's actually out now and you can pick it up at my shows or order it online. Tanya: You've been through alot with music industry people promising you things and never following through with their words, what drove you not to give up after being lied to so many times? Chris: Its all about passion for what you do. Plus the fans and friends I have made on the way make it sweeter everyday for me. Tanya: Is there any advice you have for other musicians who are in the same place as you? Chris: Stay motivated and let your love for music shine through your music. Tanya: In which ways do you think you have grown musically from the first song you ever wrote to now? Chris: I'm still growing but I am getting stronger and more creative than I used to be. Tanya: You tought yourself how to play guitar and never have taken any lessons, did you teach yourself by watching other musicians hands and movements or did you teach yourself to play by ear and the way each cord would sound? Chris: A little bit of both actually. Tanya: When can we expect to see you on tour? Chris: Hopefully by the beginning of the year I will be heading up the east coast. Right now I am doing alot of stuff in the south and then making my way up as soon as I can. Tanya: Any final words for your fans?
