A Hero From A Thousand Paces
Myspace Tanya: First off, For the readers who may be unfamiliar with a hero from a thousand paces, why don’t you introduce yourselves and what it is you play in the band and some history on the band ( how you all came together, Story behind the bands name etc..) Ryan: Hello my name is Ryan Beatty and i play piano in a hero from a thousand paces. From what i know the band came together about 2 years ago under the name Broadway but shortly after changed its name to a hero from a thousand paces..to this day im still figuring out the way name means. I never really asked haha. Tanya: The release date of your debut album “Mistakes” is creeping up, April 3rd to be exact. Why don’t you tell us what we can expect from it? Ryan: You can expect simple pop rock music that will craw and stay in your ears to the point that it will drive you in the same. Tanya: What is your favorite song off of the album? Ryan: She'll Pay For Me In Singles Tanya: You guys have a pretty big fan base, how do you keep up with it all. Ryan: Not sleeping too much :) and being a fast typer. And feeling so honored to be able to have the friends we have. Tanya: How does someone in the crowd stand out to you; how do you remember your fans? Ryan: I remember the ones who are themselves and are not there to impress someone. Someone who is paying attention and not on their stupid sidekick. Tanya: Have you had any crazy fan experiences yet? Ryan: Not yet fortunatley :) Tanya: When writing the songs, which comes first the music or the lyrics? Ryan: Both Tanya: Do you have any backstage rituals? Ryan: I try not to think about anything. I clear my head. Tanya: What are 3 touring must haves? Ryan:Cellular Device, Extra Socks, A good attitude Tanya: If you could add another member dead or alive to the band who would it be? Ryan: Mark Hoppus This or That: Tanya: Sun or Rain? Ryan: Sun Tanya: Late nights or Early Mornings? Ryan: Late Nights Tanya: Party like a Rock Star or Party like it’s 1999?
