![]() A Day to Remember Myspace Brittany: Tell us what you all do in the band and a little bit about yourself. Josh: My name is Joshua, and I play bass. Our two guitarist's are Tom and Neil, our drummer is Alex, and our frontman is Jeremy McKinnon. We're from Ocala, Florida. Brittany: How long has the band been together? Josh: The band has been together since 2003. Brittany: How would you describe the band's sound to someone who hasn't heard you guys before? Josh: We would say that we're a mixture of pop punk and hardcore. It's the best of the two extremes. Heavy stuff with catchy choruses. Brittany: What are some of your favorite venues/cities to play when on tour? Josh: We all really love Los Angeles, and New York City. The south has always been really good to us as well. Brittany: Are there any shows that stand out to you from the past? Josh: Our last hometown show was insane. A good 800 kids were in this church with this huge stage. It was incredible. Kids got so crazy that we got our set shut down. It was one of the most insane shows we've ever played. Brittany: If you could put together a tour who would you choose to play? Josh: We'd def. say like Blink 182, New Found Glory, Saves The Day. Bands we grew up listening to and still look up to today. Brittany: What is your favorite song to play live? Josh: I think it's different for everyone, but I'd have to say A Shot In The Dark. It's got a ton of headbanging parts and a lot of chant parts. It's my fav. for sure. Brittany: What is the best advice you can give about the music business? Josh: Learn a good sense of saving and how to manage your money. Too many up and coming bands have never had to deal with the amount of money you'll be making from merch. sales and guarantees. If you manage your money right you'll last longer in this game. Brittany: What can we expect from you guys after this tour? Josh: We're gonna go home and start writing a new record. We've got a tour with Maylene and The Sons of Disaster in Jan. in the UK followed by a Silverstein tour in Feb. After that we'll be writing some more. Brittany: Any last words for the people reading this? Josh: Thanks so much for taking interest in our band. You're the reason we do this. |
