Date: 12.6.08 Band: The Spill Canvas Where: The Orpheum Theatre By: Brittany Hagerty(Beatthescene.com) When I arrived at the venue I was impressed with the amount of people that were already there eager to get to their seats for the start of the show. I was interested so see how this would go because it was a much different show environment compared to recent shows I have attended. This show would be taking place at a theatre with seats as opposed to the general admission venues or arenas. The Spill Canvas was the first band to play and they sure got the crowd hyped up. Once they came out fans starting cheering and applauding them and singing along to their songs. I was blown away by their performance they had the crowd on their feet. One song they played had the everyone listening closely due to their intro. They described the song and got everyone interested and wanting more. That song they introduced was "Connect The Dots". I think that their performance definitely made their fans remember all the reasons they love this band and caught the eye of new fans in the audience. I would definitely recommend seeing them live if you get a chance you won't leave disappointed.
