Band: Luna Halo Title: Luna Halo Columbia Records/American Recordings For Fans Of: Velvet Revolver, She Wants Revenge, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Foo Fighters and Hinder Reviewed By: Rachel McMahon Luna Halo, a band made up of four incredibly talented musicians have created something that is hard to find these days, a really great rock record. Produced by Neal Avron who has worked with such acts as Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard, this record has you hooked from the very first note. Its nice to see a record that is nothing but real music. One of the tracks "Kings & Queens" which starts off the record has received national attention when it was chosen to be the theme song for the last season of the hit TV sitcom The King Of Queens. The other ten tracks that make up this CD are also filled with very well written lyrics, amazing vocals by lead signer Nathan Barlowe, along with strong rhythms that make this an excellent CD that you can jam to while driving in your car, dance to when at a party, or pretty much just listen to anytime. There isn't one song on this record that i think isn't amazing, which is something that is awesome to come by. From the first note of the first track "Kings and Queens" to the last note of the last track "World On Fire" its great!. I would definitely recommend you pick up a copy of this CD when is comes out on October 30th! |
