Band: ASTREA Title: Departure Date: 2007 By: Brittany Hagerty While listening to Departure you would never guess that it is this Boston based band's first cd. The EP has 5 tracks on it and to be honest that's probably the only disappointment I had, that there wasn't more for me to listen to. The songs are well written and are filled with catchy chorus's and structured melodies that find a way to get stuck in your head. When it comes to songs more specifically, tracks 4 and 5 stand out to me most. When listening to Love Is War you can feel the strong emotion behind the lyrics, and Shadows seems to be the best received song crowd wise and just in general. By releasing this cd Astrea left the door open to a vast variety of fans. I definitely recommend picking up the album which is available at all Newbury Comics. Track Listing: 1.Over Your Head 2. Between The Tides 3. Hourglass 4. Love Is War 5. Shadows |
